Broadband Grants and Loans
Higher education institutions are among the entities that are eligible for funding under a new initiative to promote the deployment of broadband services across the country, particularly to unserved and under-served areas. Of particular potential interest is a $50 million competitive grant program designed to expand the capacity of public computing centers, including those at community colleges.
