Just as the industry was gearing up to implement the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) along with Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (signed into law on March 30, 2010), the strong showing by Republicans in the 2010 mid-term elections has raised questions about the future of healthcare reform led by the Democrats.
