Mike Morris
“The healthcare industry spends $350 billion each year to submit and process claims. That is not sustainable. Providers must identify highly efficient processes to optimize healthcare reimbursement at a much lower cost to collect in order to remain viable as healthcare reimbursement continues to get squeezed in today’s economy.”

Mike Morris serves as the national practice leader for the Revenue Cycle Solutions business unit at Dell Services. In addition to leading sales efforts, Mr. Morris develops value proposition and delivery methodologies for Dell’s revenue cycle practice for large health systems and hospitals. He is also responsible for overall client satisfaction on multiple large customer engagements.

Mr. Morris joined Dell Services in April of 1992 and has had executive responsibility for all areas of revenue cycle operations — including associate, vendor, and affiliate relations — as well as leading teams in project management, recruiting, finance and technical services.

Prior to joining the Dell Services team, Mr. Morris led tax and consulting engagements for multiple clients as a tax manager at Price Waterhouse. He launched a technology practice office in Austin, Texas, to service the Dell engagement and provided consulting services for a variety of start-up technology companies, including several clients related to healthcare IT.

Overall, Mr. Morris has 25 years of experience in key financial and operational positions, including more than 13 years in planning and implementing large-scale healthcare client engagements and/or operational consolidations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Science degree in taxation from the University of North Texas.
