David Zirl
David Zirl has spent over 20 years helping healthcare and life science organizations around the world, effectively taking advantage of advances in information technologies in his pursuit of delivering higher quality and more effective healthcare and achieving breakthroughs in biomedical research and clinical development.

Dr. Zirl joined Dell in 2009 to help develop market and sell new Healthcare and Life Sciences solutions. He currently leads our teams responsible for developing go-to-market strategies with the industry’s leading software developers, medical device and medical imaging manufacturers, scientific instrument developers and with key channel partners. His teams also help hospitals and physician practices in the adoption of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solutions.

Dr. Zirl held sales, marketing, business development and technical leadership positions with IBM, Silicon Graphics, Kendall Square Research, MSC.Software and CSC.

Dr. Zirl earned his PhD from Rutgers University.

He is able to provide valuable insights around the technological and business directions of IT in Healthcare and Life Sciences and on the impact of digitization on the delivery of Healthcare.
