McAfee Protect Plus Licensing

McAfee® Protect Plus offers organizations of all sizes the long-term savings of a perpetual license program plus world-class, 24x7 support. There are two levels of McAfee Protect Plus to choose from: Total Protection for Enterprise and Total Protection for Enterprise-Advanced.

The following table shows the features of the two levels of McAfee Protect Plus:

Select the level of protection you need for your business, and place an order for at least 11 nodes to qualify for the program.

Within 48 hours of placing your order, you'll get a grant letter confirming order details and license terms, giving you access to the software for electronic download.

Discount Levels
The discount structure for McAfee Protect Plus is shown below. Your discount level, or band, is determined by the size of your order. The more you order in a single transaction, the higher the discount band that will apply. To qualify, you must place an initial order of at least 11 nodes.

Save More on Reorders
With Protect Plus, you get additional savings on reorders. When you place a subsequent order of five nodes or more, you'll get the discount band of your initial order or your highest previous discount band.

Note that to get the discount band, a valid license grant number must be referenced in the reorder, and reorders are not cumulative.

Support Included
The Protect Plus program also offers McAfee Gold Technical Support for one year with each license, as well as the option to renew for multiple years. Gold-level support offers 24x7, unlimited incident technical support and software maintenance. You get telephone, chat and e-mail access to McAfee technical specialists plus updates, upgrades and critical digital audio tape (DAT) files during your one-year term.

Renew your support to keep your security products up to date. Multiyear support is available for purchase at increased per-year pricing. Early renewal is encouraged — McAfee will simply start your second year when your first year expires. Late renewal means your term will be backdated to the expiration date of your previous coverage. Additional out-of-support fees may also apply.

Support Upgrades
Upgrade your support to meet your specific needs. McAfee's Platinum Technical Support includes a dedicated Enterprise Support Account Manager. You can also add support for additional languages, up to three McAfee contacts and even a global support manager if needed.

Cotermination Option
Helpful for organizations that order multiple products on varying time frames, this option allows prorating so your agreements have the same end date for easier administration. Orders must include 251 or more nodes to qualify for cotermination. Valid grant numbers are required.
