Dell enables the solution of some of the greatest challenges in the most complex high-performance computing (HPC) environments. At Dell, we use our experience in these multicore HPC architectures to further improve their computational capacity and to leverage best practices for smaller departmental HPC solutions.
The TOP500® project ranks the sites that operate the 500 most powerful computer systems based on the best performance on the Linpack benchmark. The Top500 List is published twice a year, and as of May 2010, Dell™ HPC clusters were ranked as follows:
