To compare the processor performance of the Dell PowerEdge™ R910 Java server to the Sun SPARC Enterprise T5440 Java server, Principled Technologies (PT) used the SPECjbb2005 benchmark suite.

The Dell PowerEdge R910 Java server outperformed the Sun SPARC Java server by 121.1 percent.

  • The Dell PowerEdge R910 Java server achieved a SPECjbb2005 score of 1,868,708.
  • The Sun SPARC Enterprise T5440 Java server achieved a SPECjbb2005 score of 841,380.
