Greener Products and Packaging

Dell systems are green by design; we consider the environment in all aspects of the product life cycle — from design and engineering to packaging and recycling.

For more than a decade, Dell has built environmental considerations into every stage of the product life cycle. When developing and designing products, Dell is guided by a precautionary approach to selecting materials. This means eliminating environmentally sensitive substances from our products and working towards developing reliable, environmentally sound and commercially scalable solutions. Furthermore, Dell carefully assesses the environmental impact of how these products are packaged, shipped and, in turn, used by our customers.
