Fondation Agir Contre l'Exclusion (FACE)  France  FACE is dedicated to developing and promoting innovative action to combat exclusion by enhancing education, training and employability. The program provided vocational guidance, training and links to occupational internships to help more than 1,800 junior high students from economically challenged areas in its first year and will work to extend the program to 2,500 more in 2011.

FACE is developing future professionals.
Action for Children  United Kingdom  Action for Children developed Inspire IT to provide vital technology training for young people with limited access to technology, giving them the opportunity to enhance their education and career opportunities. The program works with project staff and young people together to clearly identify barriers and needs, address fears and frustrations, and demonstrate impact.
Center for Digital (CDI) Inclusion, UK  United Kingdom  Apps for Good is a course in which young people learn to create applications that can change their world. The program trains young people to imagine, design, and develop mobile and Web-based software applications (apps) that matter to them and to their communities. In 2011, they will work to train 1,000 students through a direct partnership and monitored collaboration (do-it-yourself model).

CDI is bringing the development of mobile applications to lower income areas.
