Dell Reconnect: Donate Any Brand of Computer to Goodwill
| Technology is improving every day. Today’s computers are quickly leaving yesterday’s systems in the past — or in your closet, basement or attic. Dell has made it easy for you to recycle your used computer equipment through Dell Reconnect™, a partnership with Goodwill® Industries. Simply take your equipment, any brand in any condition, to one of Goodwill’s over 2,600 participating locations in the United States or Canada, and we’ll make sure your system and accessories are refurbished or recycled responsibly. We even accept Microsoft®, Xbox 360®, Zune® systems and accessories.

That’s the equivalent of over 40 million Inspiron™ laptops — one for almost everyone in the state of California. Some systems in working condition are refurbished and resold through Goodwill, creating an entirely new career path for the people, the nonprofit serves. Dell Reconnect has created 250 new green jobs. It’s an entrepreneurial and innovative program that helps you protect the environment and is a key part of Goodwill’s mission to provide education, training and career services to those with economic challenges. Other systems are recycled responsibly, meeting Dell’s policy against e-waste, among the strictest in the industry. No environmentally sensitive materials will be sent to landfills and no items will be exported to developing countries. > Find a Location | ![]() |
