How the Guaranteed Buyback Plan Works

At any time up to two years after purchase, you can send in your computer for free and know exactly how much you will receive in
Dell credit (see graph).

Just take these steps: 

 1. Purchase the TechForward Guaranteed Buyback Plan when you configure your computer on Dell.com. If you forget at that time, you can add the TechForward Guaranteed Buyback Plan within 60 days of purchase by calling 1-800-WWW-DELL.
 
 2.
Notify TechForward, our partner, via phone or email when you are ready to upgrade to your new Dell device.

 3. Return your old machine. Shipping is paid by TechForward. If you request one, you’ll be sent a special shipping box at no charge.
 
 4.
Receive your guaranteed buyback amount in the form of store credit (or a check, if you have already purchased your new device through Dell).
 
 5.
Feel good when your old computer is reused or recycled and kept out of the landfill.
