Dell’s Consumer Team Goes the Distance for the Community
Dell Consumer, our first global business unit, strongly embraced the philosophy of the "One Dell: One Community" program and set a goal of 50% employee participation. They exceeded the goal with 58% participation and volunteered a total of 36,380 hours this year. The Americas team for Consumer also exceeded their stretch goal of 75% and reached 81% participation and nearly 8,400 volunteer hours. Their efforts included:
- Feeding the hungry at Scott Mission in Toronto
- Beautifying Austin while working with Keep Austin Beautiful
- Building homes through Habitat for Humanity
- Serving food to those in need at Caritas
