Free At-Home Pickup for Computer Equipment
Dell wants to make recycling a simple and easy process for you, so much so that we have partnered with FedEx® to bring you an At-Home Pickup program. You can get rid of your unwanted equipment and avoid cluttering landfills without ever leaving your home or couch.

In addition, if you buy a new Dell™ product and select the free recycling option at the time of purchase, we will recycle your old electronic equipment at no cost to you (even if it isn’t a Dell branded product.) We’ll even pick it up from your home. 		Home Pickup 
The program is free and may be used for any Dell product and non-Dell branded product (with the purchase of a similar type of Dell product), anywhere in the United States.

How It Works

We'll pick up any Dell or non-Dell product for free, anywhere in the United States. Currently, the At-Home Pickup program is only available for US shipments through FedEx Package Return Program.

  1. Make sure you have backed up or transferred all data.
  2. Ensure all confidential data has been deleted from your hard drive.
  3. Find your unique identification number.
  4. Complete the Online Waybill form for Dell or non-Dell products to get your free shipping label.  
  5. Package your equipment. Note: Dell does not provide packaging materials.
  6. Print your Waybill label and affix it to your package.
  7. Call (800) Go-FedEx (800-463-3339) to schedule your pickup. Let FedEx know you would like to schedule a pickup for the Dell Package Return Program.
Wait for FedEx to pick up your package within the agreed pickup schedule, or you may leave the package outside your door on the day you have scheduled the pickup.

Ink and Toner Recycling

Keep your used cartridges out of landfills as well. Did you know it takes 1,000 years or more for one ink or toner cartridge to decompose inside a landfill? You can recycle all of your Dell ink and toner cartridges — for free — with us.
