Greener Products

Introduction

Dell systems are “Green by Design”; we consider the environment in all aspects of the product lifecycle, from design and engineering to packaging and recycling.

For more than a decade, Dell has built environmental considerations into every stage of the product life cycle. When developing and designing products, Dell selects materials guided by a precautionary approach. This means eliminating environmentally sensitive substances from our products and working towards developing reliable, environmentally sound, and commercially scalable solutions. Further, Dell carefully assesses the environmental impact of how these products are packaged, shipped and used by our customers.
