Debra Ruh knew that her daughter with Down Syndrome was capable of great things, even though some experts claimed otherwise. Taking action to prove them wrong, Debra created a path to empowerment and success for those with special needs. Debra founded TecAccess to acknowledge the contributions of people with disabilities in both the workplace and the marketplace and provide accessibility consulting solutions to companies around the world.

Most of Debra’s employees are scattered throughout the country, in homes, offices, rehab facilities and even nursing homes. She uses Dell’s Latitude™ laptops and OptiPlex™ desktops to give her employees the performance, reliability and freedom they need. “Dell has to build a product that works with the assistive technologies my employees need because of reasonable accommodations. It’s something that we can build the laptop that really works for them or the desktop if that’s the best thing for them based on what their requirements and needs are.“
