If you’ve seen Wolverine, The Fantastic Four or The Incredible Hulk, you’ve seen the work of Soho VFX. They create digital video effects for some of the biggest blockbusters around. But the business didn’t start with the red carpet treatment and company had to forge its own path. “Our first office was actually in an elevator shaft in an old building in downtown Toronto,” says Berj Bannayan, co-founder. “They just boarded up the floors in the elevator shaft and put us on the third floor of that building.”

That was in 2002. Today, Soho VFX has more than 150 employees and over 40 Hollywood feature films to their credit. The growing studio is home to some of the most creative and accomplished artists in the industry and their proven ability to deliver large studio effects with small studio passion is unmatched.
