Built and tested to meet MIL-STD 810F¹ - a tough military standard of durability, the Latitude ATG is designed to perform despite the work environment. Its dust and spill-resistant keyboard, as well as port covers, give the Latitude ATG protection from dust and humidity. It also features a super-bright 500-nit LCD display with anti-reflective coating that's 1 1/2 times brighter than most mainstream corporate notebooks, so the screen can be viewed easily even on the brightest days. And if you're working in low-light situations or at night, its special task lights will illuminate the keyboard to help you stay productive anywhere, anytime.

The Latitude ATG is designed with the Intel Core^TM  microarchitecture, delivering incredible computing performance while optimizing the systems use of power. This new microarchitecture leverages the Intel 945GM chipset and several key technologies like Smart Memory Access, which uses the available bandwidth from the memory subsystem for optimal performance, helping to give you faster access to applications and documents.

The notebook also features the Intel Core 2 Duo dual-core processor, which can provide significantly better performance than previous Intel dual-core processors. Dual-core processors allow your system to split tasks between two processors so that they can share the load and get more done in less time.

Additionally, the ATG is designed with premium wireless connectivity. It offers Wi-Fi productivity with dual-band Wi-Fi for connecting to any available network and a special Dell Wi-Fi Catcher^TM  that constantly scans for wireless hotspots² and notifies you whenever it detects one. Plus with the integrated mobile broadband³ capability, you can connect to the Internet using national cellular networks. That way, you can remain productive on the go, on jobsites or wherever you find yourself working. Another optional feature of the ATG is the Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth module.
