When did you join Dell and what roles have you held in your time here?
It’s been over 2 years with Dell, leading the EBI’s Shared Services Group, Engineering, Data Warehouse Architecture and oversight of EBI’s India operations. As they say at Dell, every second day is a new journey by itself!

What responsibilities are included in your current role?
I head EBI management team and provide direction and leadership to excel in their ongoing ramp and evolution for the current & future business needs of Dell. I believe to deliver with passion & transform the team with new operating culture that promotes thought leadership and operational excellence.

How would you describe the Dell culture?
Winning with integrity, our fundamental that hasn’t changed over years! The zeal to lead with optimism and openness to help our customers, teams grow & thrive is Dell’s supreme culture for me.

What keeps you here at Dell?
“The power to do more!” Dell’s culture, corporate responsibility and innovation practices are big factors that keep me at Dell. Being part of one of the largest data warehouse in the industry and the opportunities for learning and innovation available are surely a huge contributing factor. The company is going through a significant change and I am glad be a part of a world class organization to contribute to its transformation.

What are some projects that you have recently been involved with and some of your career highlights at Dell?
People - Global mindset – achieved synergy between global teams for better execution of projects. We have excelled in creating an integrated, global, cross-functional, industry competitive data warehouse organization.

Technology - Established a principle based architecture that focused on scalable, reusable, high performance and rapid solution delivery to customers with a vision towards active/integrated data warehouse.

Community – W.I.S.E - Successfully launched programs which focused on personal and career growth to establish a diverse culture in the organization. As a DYC champion for TERI, spearheaded to make a difference, to the causes they support.

What positive effects have you seen as a result of Dell’s strategy transition?
The overall transformation journey has been incredible so far. The customers and external market place view us as a holistic best in class solution and services provider. We have focused on structure, cost, evolving our go-to-market strategy and our value chain which has clearly been indicative of company’s health overall.

What role have you played in helping your customers grow and thrive?
We as an organization continue to serve the data needs of Dell for business partners to make appropriate decisions that either generate revenue or find avenues for saving costs. We have focused our efforts to add value to the data in the warehouse and turn that into timely and enriched information for business to consume.
